The lovely guys at Muscle Mousse sent me a beaut tub of White Chocolate Muscle Mousse to try out, and I was super excited!
I’d heard a lot about Muscle Mousse through various social medias – they have a really strong presence on Twitter – and so I was super excited to get the opportunity to sample it.

This works out as just over £2.00 per serving. Bargain!
How Does It Taste…?
Because I follow of all of these ‘nuts’ on various social medias – I found out that there were various ways to inhale this incredible protein-packed dessert:
Of course, there is the original way to was made to be eaten. 50g mixed with 150ml water in a shaker bottle, pour into a bowl and let set for half hour. Easy! It’s turns into a lovely thick mousse, with zero powdery residue and a great taste. Not too weak, not too strong – just perfect for an after dinner sweet treat.
Then…I found the magical Mousse Kitchen.
“What’s the Mousse Kitchen?” I hear you ask..
A wonderful collection of cheesecake recipes, all made with Muscle Mousse. How dreamy!
Now, don’t they look incredible?!!!
I adapted a couple of the recipes from the Mousse Kitchen, and made it my own – so check out my version here.
Eating this cheesecake honestly felt like the biggest treat on earth. I had it for dessert, as standard, and sometimes I even had #CheesecakeForBreakfast – just because I could!! It was just like a ‘real’ baked cheesecake, with none of the guilt.
I added various toppings, from fruit to choccy jazzies (just for funzies) and got the girls at Bedford Lodge hooked as well. I didn’t share nearly as much as I should have though 😉 I even made a Muscle Mousse Cheesecake for Matt’s family BBQ, and everyone loved it *happy Tiff*
My Final Thoughts…
Muscle Mousse is a totally worth-it buy for someone like me who has a super sweet tooth and craves something after dinner. You can play with recipes or just have it as-is, whichever way works for you. A definite must-have on my protein shelf!
