Another ‘all over the place’ kind of week. With seeing our friends on Tuesday in Birmingham (read my review of The Botanist, Birmingham here) and all of our stuff getting shipped on Wednesday, it was hard to get any exercise in this week, and team that up with injury and it’s a pretty bad week all round 😦

Thursday – Cardio
After getting down to Matt’s parents in Braintree on Wednesday night, I made sure I got out on Thursday for a run. I got my fastest 5k too – YAY!!!
Friday – Cardio
I found a gym close to Matt’s parents so that I could join some classes. I decided on Spinning this time round, 45 minutes – ooosh!!!
Saturday – Injured
Sunday – Injured
Annoyingly, my knee went on Friday night meaning that I struggled to walk on Saturday and Sunday – which stopped me going to work out as well.
All in all, it’s been a pretty crappy week with exercise, and I am really feeling it. I’ll tell you the truth – finishing off this post on Sunday evening, I am in that ‘I feel like giving up’ kind of mood, as my food and exercise has been pretty rubbish this week because everything’s been up in the air with the moving around all over the place. But I know as soon as I get out to Abu Dhabi I’ll be wanting to go out by the pool and down to the beach and I’ll want to look good all the time, so it’s a proper argument with myself at the moment to move past the bad bits and make sure I rectify the mess I keep putting myself in.
All I can do is constantly tell myself that this will all straighten out, and we won’t be in this weird limbo forever and we’ll be settled and healthy and happy. In the meantime, I’ll try my hardest to not give in to absolutely everything!
