Another Month Down…
I knew the day would come where I wouldn’t see any good changes in my body, my weight or my size… I’m just a little gutted that it had to be this day!
This month I took finished up the last week of the Elite Body programme from BodyBuilding.com and I started the Clutch Cut 3-week programme from the same website. It warned me it was a toughie, and it definitely didn’t disappoint.
I’ve watched changes in my body and general lifestyle take place, and as always, here’s the monthly roundup:
Weights and Measurements
I really didn’t want this to be the time when I’d take more steps back than I have forward, but it’s happened and I am going to have to deal with it. From March to April I have gained weight and size in some parts of my body, and though I am happy with the progress in my back and shoulders – my stomach and legs are definite problem areas.
Here are the weights/measurements details from the last month:
So all in all from February, I have gained 3lbs and 1.5 inches. *insert sad face here*
Check out my full exercise diary’s from March:
So, all in all, from day dot, this is what has changed:
Weight – Say bye bye to 10 pounds
Belly Measurement (biggest part) – 4 inches smaller
Belly Button Measurement – 4.5 inches smaller
Waist Measurement (smallest part) – 2 inches smaller
Thigh (biggest part) – 2 inches smaller
That’s a total of 12.5 inches lost!
And here goes with the progress photos…
The Plan Going Forward…
I’ve been given some different advice of what it is I need to do to sort myself out and kickstart the fat loss again – I just don’t know which way to go about it! Some people are saying that I need to give my body a break after putting it through some strenuous stuff in the last 5 months, but I just look back and see my best month (Feb-March) being the time when I was putting myself through really hard workouts and training for a 10k. This gives me good weight loss and I was really pleased with the way I look.
At this point in time I feel asif I need to go back to that. Eating 1500 cals with a good macro split, and training my arse off.
As I’ve mentioned a million times before, I’m no professional, nutritionist, personal trainer or dietician – I just read a lot, try things out and see if they work. If anyone has any advice for me, I’d be greatly appreciative. Have a look at my food diary on MyFitnessPal, check out my exercise diaries and let me know what you think I need to do!!
