It’s come around again!
And so quickly this time.. Sorry I’m late with all of this guys, as you will have guessed, December has been a pretty busy month! I was even more nervous this time around than I was last…
Obviously with it being Christmas and New Year, I didn’t think that any changes would be made in my weight and measurements – and I seriously considered not bothering doing them all and sharing with you. But then I remembered – I swore that I would share all of my journey with you – the ups, the downs and the chocolate cake.
I’m actually pretty happy with that! 2 and a half inches off of the key areas of my body, and a weight loss of 4lbs during the month.
So all in all, from day dot, this is what has changed:
- Weight – Say bye bye to 8 pounds
- Belly Measurement (biggest part) – 2.5 inches smaller
- Belly Button Measurement – 1.5 inches smaller
- Waist Measurement (smallest part) – 1.5 inches smaller
- Thigh – 1 inch smaller
That’s a total of 8 pounds and 6 and a half inches lost! Not toooo shabby!!!
If you remember, waaay back in the day when I set my goals (see here) I said that I wanted to lose 10lbs. I’m a little gutted that I’m only 2lb off of that target…and it does piss me off a bit – but you have to learn to almost live with it, because there is absolutely nothing I can do about it right now. Looking back, I could have worked harder in December and said no to a few drinks and cheese and biscuits and whatever else, but I need to live my life…and if I can’t do that, then I will really struggle with this whole journey.
And here goes with the progress photos…
I’m quite happy with those to be fair. I can actually see some progress here – definitely from the first photo to the last. I can see some definition in my stomach and in my shoulders too. I’m uncharacteristically happy about all of this!! Yay!!!!
The Plan Going Forward…
My plan going forward to focus on increasing my muscle and decreasing my body fat percentage. My goal is to get down to 15% body fat, but I don’t really know how…
My scales are currently telling me that I am at currently at 22.3% body fat percentage, which isn’t too bad at all and I do recognise that, but the thought of getting below 20% would be an actual dream. If anyone has any ideas, hints or tips on how to do it – then pleaaaase tell me – because I will take all the help in the world.
This month I am focusing on my squat challenge, and on HIIT/Tabata training to blitz that body fat. Wish me luck!!
